There seems to be a deluge of budget Android devices of late, and here we have another contender, in the form of the Lead 5, by Leagoo, yet another Chinese smartphone manufacturer who is trying to mark their mark on our shores. Before you brush it off, consider the fact that this device, which has a 5-inch IPS display, a quad-core processor, and a slim aluminium frame that measures at only 7.9mm thin, will only set you back RM399.
If that price tag has caught you attention, then you will be pleased to know that you are getting quite a bit for your money as well. Inside, you will find that it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. The Lead 5 also includes dual-SIM support, a 5-megapixel rear shooter, a 3-megapixel front camera, 2800mAh battery. It will also run the (now-dated) Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, complemented by Leagoo’s own software configurations.
